The Elmag ALU welding wire AlSi 5 (3.2245) is a high-quality welding wire specifically designed for MIG and TIG welding of aluminum-silicon alloys. With a diameter of 1.2 mm and a weight of 2 kg per spool, this welding wire is ideal for various applications in metal processing. The wire is suitable for processing under argon shielding gas, allowing for a precise and clean weld seam. For larger workpieces or wall thicknesses over 15 mm, the welding gap should be preheated to 150 to 200 °C to achieve optimal welding results.
