The Einhell TC-BD 630/1 column drill is a precision tool for ambitious DIY enthusiasts. With an extra-large throat depth of 126 mm, it can reliably create pinpoint holes in large workpieces made of wood or metal. With a power of 630 watts and a 12-speed setting ranging from 200 to 2,450 revolutions per minute, it allows for material-appropriate and precise drilling. This column drill can be used at both very low and very high speeds, making it excellent for hard materials like metal as well as soft materials like wood. Exact drill holes up to a maximum drilling depth of 60 mm are possible thanks to the adjustable depth stop. The column drill features a robust keyless chuck and an MK2 mount, allowing for the use of Morse taper drills and standard bits with diameters ranging from 1.5 mm to 16 mm. The ball-bearing drill spindle ensures long-lasting and smooth operation. The column drill is adjustable in height thanks to the infinitely variable height adjustment of the drill table. Additionally, the drill table can be rotated up to 90° and tilted up to 45°. The rubberized three-arm cross handle proves advantageous for precise pressure application without exertion. Safety during operation is ensured by the foldable chip guard. The on/off switch with a zero-voltage release prevents the machine from unintentionally restarting after a power outage.
