The variable profile system Universal Fix, as a low-cost alternative, is based on a plastic support which can be adapted to different floor covering heights by means of glass fibre reinforced adapters. With a variable installation height of 6-15 mm, it can be used for all standard parquet and laminate floors. For easy and time-saving installation, only the base profile is screwed to the floor or, in the case of underfloor heating systems, glued. The aluminium cover profile is then simply clipped onto the adapter.
