The 309N is a self-activating panic lock for single-leaf doors. It meets the requirements for burglar-resistant doors, fire protection doors, emergency exit doors, and panic doors according to EN 179 and EN 1125. A mechanical sequencing control system reliably prevents unwanted extension of the bolt when the door is open. The lock can be universally used for left/right applications with a universal double-acting bolt and a switchable control bolt. The panic side, which can open outward or inward, is also reversible.

Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) according to EN 15804 (in preparation). Tested for 500,000 cycles and a door weight of 300 kg. Lock variants for double-leaf doors with full panic function, passive leaf lock with security surface locking for RC doors. Self-locking with a mechanical sequencing control system.

Suitable for fire protection doors, EN 1634-1. Tested according to EN 179/EN 1125. Mechanical locking 309N/319N: variants with panic function E and B. 6 mm full surface plate for additional security. Uniform lock case dimensions, compatible with 809N/819N (electromechanical) and 509N/519N (motor lock). Suitable for DIN left/right use thanks to the universal double-acting bolt and reversible control bolt.

Security fittings and oval rosettes can be screwed onto the lock. Panic side opening outward or inward, reversible (panic function B). Massive, surface-hardened bolts with a 20 mm projection, transverse shear force of 20,000 N. A variant for Euro profile cylinders and Swiss round profile cylinders. Burglary protection can be achieved in suitable door systems up to RC2 (single locking) and RC4 (multi-point locking). The strike plate must be ordered separately.
