Product details

Dupli-Color model paint plastic primer, colourless, 150 ml. This special primer is designed for modelling paints and improves the adhesion of acrylic or synthetic resin paints. It can be used on various hard plastics, including polyurethane (PUR), polystyrene (PS), polyamide (PA), modified rubber (EPDM), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), glass fibre reinforced plastic (GRP) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC). However, it is not suitable for polystyrene and polycarbonate. To protect your painted models from typical fuels used in model making, we recommend the use of MODEL PAINT clear lacquer. Quality and properties: Solvent-based product with special adhesion promoter additives. Developed for subsequent painting of painted hard plastics. Fast drying. Suitable for interior and exterior applications. Good resistance to external influences. Good flow properties with a smooth surface. Binder base: special resin. Odour: solvent-like. Coverage: 150 ml cover approx. 2-2.5 m². Dust-dry: after 5 minutes. Dry and recoatable: after 15 minutes. Shelf life/storage: 10 years if stored properly (10°-25°C).
