Dupli-Color Magnetic Paint

Dupli-Color Magnetic Paint is a water-based interior paint. The paint contains iron pigments that allow magnets to adhere to the coating. This creates a variety of application possibilities in kindergartens, schools, offices, and children's rooms. When applied in sufficiently thick layers, it can be overcoated with any dispersion lacquer or even covered with a thin wallpaper – the magnetic attraction remains intact. Spraying with Dupli-Color sprays is also possible.

Binder base: acrylic dispersion/hybrid system (acrylic/alkyd). Odor: neutral. Gloss level: at a 60° measurement angle according to DIN 67530, matte: not measurable due to the structured surface. Coverage: Depending on the layer thickness, 1 liter is sufficient for approximately 2 – 3 m² (2 coats). Drying time (at 20°C, 65% relative humidity): touch-dry at a wet layer thickness of 100 µm after 2 – 3 hours. Handle-dry after about 3 hours. Recoatable with itself after at least 3 – 4 hours. Repaintable with dispersion paint after at least 6 hours of drying time. The drying time depends on the ambient temperature, humidity, and applied layer thickness. Optimal processing temperature: room temperature 15 – 25°C. Cleaning of tools: with water. Shelf life/storage: 1 year under proper storage conditions (10°-25°C, relative humidity of a maximum of 60%) in the unopened original container. Store frost-free. Packaging/Content: Metal cans 0.5 liters.
