What can you do with it? It is ideal for separating and making straight cuts and slots in all types of metal, such as hardened steel, sheet metal, or aluminum. It allows for easy cutting of bolts or notching of rusted and/or damaged bolts or screws to remove them with the help of a screwdriver.

How does it work? Use with the clamping spindle 402: loosen the upper screw on the clamping spindle with the key, insert the screw through the middle hole of the disc, and tighten it back onto the clamping spindle. Use the metal cutting discs at high speed and low pressure. With low pressure, the discs last longer and cut faster than with high pressure. Additionally, the risk of breakage is lower. Since the discs have a grinding effect, their diameter decreases over time. When the disc becomes too small to make the cut, it must be replaced.

For using a cutting disc, we recommend a two-handed golf grip to hold and guide the tool. Aim for a right angle. Angling the disc while cutting can lead to breakage of the disc.

For use in the following materials: This cutting disc can be used for various types of metals such as aluminum, copper, or cast iron, as well as for short cuts in plastic or brick. For materials like galvanized metal or hardened steel, it is better to use the reinforced cutting disc.
