Product details
Sanding – What is possible with the tool? Mounted on an extra-strong steel mandrel, the sanding belt allows for lateral and circular movements to smooth surfaces, enlarge holes, or create irregular indentations. The sanding belt is most effective when its edge is flat against the workpiece. To determine the optimal speed, start slowly and gradually increase the speed to avoid overheating. For maximum accessory lifespan, the tool should be operated at a lower speed with little to no pressure applied. It is not recommended to use the sanding belt on metal or substances like paints and other coatings, as it can easily clog.
For use on the following materials: Ideal for a variety of materials including hardwoods and softwoods, ceramic wall tiles, composites, plastics, fiberglass, and stone. Not recommended for use on metal.
Recommended speed for sanding:
- Soft and hardwood: 15,000 - 35,000 RPM
- Laminate/Plastics: 15,000 RPM
- Shell/Stone: 25,000 – 35,000 RPM
- Ceramic: 15,000 RPM
Hole saw – What is possible with this tool? This accessory serves as both a sanding belt and a hole saw. With the hole saw function, plunge cuts in various materials are possible.
How does it work? Hold your tool at a 45-degree angle when you begin drilling. Continue cutting by moving the tool in a circular motion. Allow the tool to gradually cut the hole in this manner. This way, the accessory heats up only minimally for maximum lifespan. When drilling through ceramic wall tiles, start the hole on the unglazed side of the tile. If a material plug gets stuck in the hole saw, remove it by inserting a screw into the plug and then pulling it out or gently tapping the plug until it breaks.
