The Dormer tap set is a precise toolset specifically designed for machining ISO metric threads M6 with a pitch of 1.00 mm. This set includes three taps, each designed for different thread entries: one for 6-8xP, one for 4-6xP, and one for 2-3xP. The taps are made from high-speed steel (HSS), offering high wear resistance and a smooth surface for seamless machining. With a shank diameter of 6.3 mm and a square drive, these taps are dimensioned according to ISO 529 standards and are suitable for both through and blind holes in structural steel and carbon steel. The precise cutting geometry and right-hand cutting direction ensure efficient and accurate machining.
