Dormer MF-Metric Fine Tapping Die 18x1.5mm HSS Right-Hand: Adjustable slotted tapping die, ISO-metric fine thread M18 with a 1.50 mm pitch, designed to reduce torque when hand cutting. Split tapping dies can be adjusted in small increments up to a maximum of approximately 0.15 mm. Dimensions according to BS 1127:1950 standard with a 1.5″ outer diameter and 0.5″ thickness. HSS with a plain surface for threading in structural steel and carbon steel, ferritic stainless steel, gray cast iron, ductile iron, and compacted graphite cast iron. Additional technical specifications: Height: 12.7, Cutting material: HSS, Coating: uncoated.
