The Dormer machine tap DIN 371C E261 M6x1 mm HSS-E-PM TiAlN/Top-coated 2.5XD 6H is a high-precision tool designed for machining ISO metric threads. With a cutting form C and a pitch of 1 mm, this tap is ideal for applications in carbon steel as well as alloyed tool steel. The TiAlN coating provides improved wear resistance and a longer tool life. The tap features a cylindrical shank with a square drive, ensuring a secure and stable attachment in the tool holder. With a 45° helix angle and a right-hand cutting direction, this tap allows for efficient chip removal and precise thread production.
