The Dormer ISO 529 E531 BSW 5/16"x18 HSS Blank 1.5XD Medium machine tap is a high-precision tool specifically designed for machining threads in construction steel, carbon steel, as well as copper and copper alloys. With a cylindrical shank and a square drive, this tap offers reliable handling and excellent cutting performance. The tap is manufactured according to the ISO 529 standard and meets the requirements of the British Standard Whitworth threads (BSW) with a pitch of 18 threads per inch. The HSS (High-Speed Steel) construction ensures high wear resistance and durability, while the blank surface provides optimal cutting performance. The tap is suitable for both through and blind holes and offers a medium tolerance class, allowing for precise thread formation.
