Digitus Socket with 2 USB ports

The USB socket features a protective contact outlet with shutters for enhanced touch protection, as well as an integrated power supply with two USB charging ports for charging smartphones or tablets. The safety socket includes overload protection and short-circuit protection, which safeguard the two USB Type-A charging ports and the connected smartphones or tablets. The charging function of the wall socket supports up to 10.5 W (5 V / 2.1 A) as the total output power of both USB-A interfaces. When two devices are connected, the charging current is distributed accordingly. Due to the installation depth of 38 mm, a standard flush-mounted box can be used for the flush installation. The socket is suitable for indoor use. The dimensions of the socket panel (without frame) are 55 x 55 mm, making it compatible with designs from other manufacturers. Including the frame, the dimensions are 8.5 x 8.5 cm.
