The DeWalt D27300 planer and thicknesser features a large, finely machined aluminum planing table and a flat machined cast iron thickness table, as well as rubberized infeed rollers for smooth operation. The improved controls allow for precise adjustment of the material removal in both planing and thicknessing modes. The robust aluminum fence ensures accurate angles in planing mode. The 100 mm dust extraction helps keep the workspace clean. For user protection, the D27300 planer and thicknesser is equipped with a safety switch that prevents accidental activation without the guard in place, a no-voltage switch, motor protection, and blade covers.
