The Extreme Dewalt 2 centering drill allows for precise drilling without drifting. Specially ground shoulder cutting edges create exact, circular holes with clean edges (from Ø 4.8 mm).

It offers up to 50% increased break stability and enables an immediate start after placement, eliminating the need for centering. The iron oxide alloy effectively protects against overheating.

The non-slip shank with three milled clamping surfaces prevents the drill from spinning in the chuck (from Ø 5.0 mm). It produces circular holes with clean, nearly burr-free edges.

Wear-resistant size markings, placed outside the clamping area, ensure long-lasting readability (from Ø 5.0 mm).

This tool is ideal for handheld drilling in thin-walled materials, featuring a constantly increasing core diameter towards the shank for maximum break stability during handheld use (from Ø 4.8 mm).

Application examples include use in alloyed and unalloyed steels up to 900 N/mm² tensile strength, drilling sheet metal and thin-walled profile materials (as well as pipes without pre-processing), where precise and clean drilling is required. It is also very well suited for drilling wood and plastics.
