Epoxy-resin armoured windings protect the motor from abrasive dust particles. An optimised fan system effectively cools the angle grinder and electronics during use, increasing service life.
The electronic brake reliably stops the disc in a matter of seconds (less than 2 seconds). The electronic clutch automatically switches the device off if it jams, protecting both the user and the machine. The combination of the electronic clutch and brake further minimises the risk of kickbacks.
Overload protection safeguards the user and the machine, while restart protection prevents the angle grinder from accidentally starting up when the battery is changed. A protective grille for cooling air slots shields the motor from coarse dust particles.
The quick-release nut allows for fast, tool-free accessory changes, and the tool-free protective hood can be quickly adjusted. This tool is compatible with all DEWALT 18-volt XR and 54-volt XR FLEXVOLT batteries in all Ah classes.
