Even when using an XR Flexvolt battery with 6 Ah, the motor delivers over 75% more output power, resulting in a correspondingly stronger pulling force. The very high battery capacity of up to 12 Ah allows for much longer runtime. Problem-free long-term use is ensured thanks to safety electronics that permanently monitor battery temperature, current draw, and discharge protection. Safe operation is provided by an electronic motor brake and a locking switch. The tool is versatile, featuring precise, fast, and tool-free adjustment of the cutting depth and inclination angle via exact scales. An easy and quick saw blade change is facilitated by a spindle lock. It is ideal for use with the Dewalt guide rail system, thanks to its robust, torsion-resistant, and face-milled aluminum saw shoe. The front area has a shortened protective hood, and the integrated LED and blowing device allow for an unrestricted view of the cut, even in poor lighting conditions.
