The Dehn PAS EX 1+9AP M10 V2A is a spark-free Ex potential equalization rail specifically designed for use in explosion-prone areas. It allows for the integration of metallic conductors and cables into the lightning protection potential equalization in accordance with relevant standards such as VDE 0185-305-3 and DIN VDE 0100. This rail is suitable for Ex zones 1 and 2 as well as 21 and 22 and meets the requirements of explosion group IIC. With a temperature class of T4 and a lightning current carrying capacity class of H (100 kA), it offers high safety and reliability. The design includes a screw locking mechanism to prevent self-loosening and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. To avoid whisker formation, the use of tinned crimp terminals with a nickel barrier layer is recommended.
