The important vibration-absorbing properties depend on the enhanced formula of the mastic layer as well as the embossed 100-micrometer thick aluminum foil, which reduces structure-borne noise. CTK Standard is a modern, technologically advanced material that absorbs low-frequency vibrations. It is available in the form of a self-adhesive mat based on butyl rubber composites and special polymer additives. On the outside, there is an extruded aluminum foil with a thickness of 100 micrometers (0.1 mm), which reinforces and mechanically protects the damping material while improving its acoustic properties. Thanks to a specially selected butyl rubber composite, high elasticity, medium weight, and better adhesion properties (the adhesion to the surface increases over time), this material maintains high vibration damping efficiency.
