Steering wheel remote control adapters provide the opportunity to install aftermarket radios from popular brands in your vehicle without sacrificing the comfort of the existing remote control on the steering wheel. The adapter connects between the car radio connection block and the new radio (Plug & Play thanks to a specific cable adapter). For vehicles without steering wheel buttons, this cable set is also an optimal option: you can use the cables even without the lead (Remote In, which controls the steering wheel buttons). This way, you enhance your installation while all CAN bus functions remain available (for example, 15+V ignition power, etc.).

Generally supported functions:

  • Volume up / down
  • Track forward and backward
  • Station forward and backward

Depending on the steering wheel control unit, additional functions may be available, such as phone buttons. The following signals are converted:

  • Speed signal (Gala)
  • Ignition signal 15+
  • Lighting
  • Handbrake
  • Reverse gear
  • Phone mute
  • Steering wheel remote control
