Since their introduction, the Emperor series swords have proved popular with many Cold Steel customers. However, Cold Steel recognises that there are some people who want a battle-ready sword but hope to find one at a more affordable price. The Warrior series addresses this problem head on. These swords are made from the same high performance 1060 steel, have the same heat treatment and are just as sharp as their Emperor Series counterparts, but Cold Steel has foregone the expensive mirror polish in favour of a more practical finish. This makes the Warrior series the perfect choice for training and perfecting cutting techniques (Tameshigiri) without damaging or tarnishing the blade.
