Tripping Characteristics: Characteristic B (3-5 ln) protects equipment against overload and short circuit, as well as providing protection for people and long cable lengths in TNS and IT networks. Characteristic C (5-10 ln) protects equipment against overload and short circuit, as well as providing protection for resistive and inductive loads with low inrush current.
