Scandinavian design is cool. However, this particular example from the manufacturer Cautiex only comes to the forefront as an effective savior of body, life, and home inventory in particularly heated situations: The Invisible is probably the smallest smoke detector since the discovery of fire. Its state-of-the-art smoke detector electronics with a photoelectric sensor and high-quality workmanship ensure a long lifespan. The integrated lithium battery from JO-EL lasts on average five years, and the power supply can be checked via a control signal. Cautiex provides the prime example of Scandinavian design, complete with mounting materials. Awards: iF product design award 2011, Plus-X-Award 2012, reddot design award 2013.

Der fotoelektrische Cavius Rauchwarnmelder 2007-004 ist das kleinste Gerät im Test und überzeugt durch seine kompakte Bauweise. Der Durchmesser des 43 Gramm schweren Rauchmelders beträgt 46 Millimeter und er ist 45 Millimeter hoch, so nimmt er an der Decke kaum Platz weg. Allerdings ist der Cavius nicht per Funk mit anderen Einheiten vernetzbar und lässt sich auch nicht ins Smart-Home integrieren...
