The D2 door drop seal from Cardatec is an innovative solution for floor-to-ceiling doors without a head stop. It is particularly well-suited for humid and wet areas and provides effective sound insulation of up to 50 dB. The special silicone profile prevents freezing and allows for flexible adjustment to the floor, even in cold temperatures. The seal is self-adjusting and features overload protection, enhancing its durability and functionality. Installation is done in the groove, and the seal can be shortened by up to 125 mm if necessary to ensure an optimal fit. This door drop seal is suitable for doors made of wood, metal, and plastic, and offers a silent operation thanks to integrated end-stop damping.
