Brunox Rostumwandler Epoxy

Brunox Epoxy is a patented rust converter and primer in one product and is the world's first rust remover with epoxy resin in a spray can. The product was developed for industrial applications, the trades and for demanding maintenance work. The combination of rust neutralisation and integrated epoxy primer creates an extremely resistant protective layer that provides long-term corrosion protection and at the same time forms an ideal basis for subsequent coatings.

The patented rust converter completely neutralises rust and forms an organometallic iron complex with iron. The black, very compact protective layer ensures long-term corrosion protection and also serves as an epoxy primer. It is used on iron and steel surfaces indoors and outdoors, with the exception of underwater applications.

A very good creep and penetration capacity ensures reliable film formation without brush marks or edge alignment. Application is possible as brush-on quality or industrial quality with a brush, roller, dipping method, spray gun or airless. The spray version enables convenient application from the aerosol can for repair and maintenance work.

The recommended application temperature is approx. 20 °C, whereby application below 10 °C should be avoided. Dust dryness is achieved after approx. 1 hour at 20 °C and complete curing after approx. 24 hours. The recommended dry film thickness is at least 40-50 µm with 2 coats or 3-4 spray coats. Consumption is approx. 60 g/m² per coat or approx. 15 m² per litre.
