The BRILLIANT TOOLS thread repair set BT541150 is excellent for repairing damaged or worn threads. Various sizes of threads can be repaired quickly and easily. First, the old thread must be drilled out to the desired size using the spiral drill bit. Next, the thread for the thread insert needs to be cut. The hand installation tool can be used to insert the thread insert into the created thread. Once the thread insert is positioned, the pin can be broken off at the predetermined breaking point using the pin breaker.
