A unique feature of these models is the Barlow zoom system in the eyepiece connection: the magnification can be continuously adjusted up to 2x during visual observation using an extendable additional lens, allowing magnifications from 40x to 1600x with three objectives and two interchangeable wide-field eyepieces. The Bresser Junior student microscope has an adjustable LED for transmitted and reflected light illumination, including a filter disc with colour filters and diaphragms. This enables optimum adjustment of the illumination. The additional incident light illumination can be used to observe non-transparent objects such as leaves and small insects, making it easier to get started with microscopy. The practical hard case makes it easy to transport and store all accessories. Power is supplied by batteries (three AA batteries) so that microscopic work can also be carried out in areas without a power socket.
