A multiple application (approximately 3 times) is recommended for optimal results. The ideal firing temperature for this glaze is 1250 °C, with a recommended hold time of 30 minutes. At 1220 °C, the glaze appears in a satin matte, greenish turquoise. At 1250 °C, a satin glossy turquoise with bright effects is achieved.
