Product details

The power transmission in the SDS-Quick system is achieved through a form fit, while the conventional cylindrical shank system relies on a friction fit. In the cylindrical shank system, the connection between the drill bit and jaw is based on friction, whereas the power transmission between the shank and drill chuck in the SDS-Quick system is ensured by positive locking. This results in reduced friction losses and optimal torque transmission. The Quick-Change system enables the drill to be changed in just a few seconds without the need for tools. SDS-Quick drills can also be used in conventional three-jaw drill chucks, with or without a key.
