Product details
The Forstner bit has an excellent lifespan when drilling precision holes. Its tooth-shaped design reduces friction and heat, leading to greater durability. The short centering tip of the precision drill features two main cutting edges and a peripheral cutting edge (tooth-shaped) for accurate results. The large chip-free zones, which allow for optimized chip removal, further enhance the drill's fast drilling precision. It enables smooth, splinter-free drilling of blind holes as well as drilling at edges and slopes, for example, for the installation of hinges, doweling, or removing knot holes. It is suitable for drilling in softwood or hardwood, veneered wood, and non-laminated particle board. The 3-sided shank of the Forstner bit prevents slipping in the chuck. It is manufactured according to DIN 7483G, with a cutting hardness of at least 50 HRC.
