The Starlock AIZ 20 AB plunge-cut saw blade enables fine cuts in wood and unhardened metal. The narrow blade of 20 mm width enables filigree work. The robust Starlock mounting system reduces lateral vibration of the blade and enables hair-thin cuts by means of direct power transmission. It is used for sawing recesses in furniture components, flush cutting of copper pipes and plunge cuts in plasterboard. This blade saws wood and unhardened metal, soft plastics and panels with plastic lamination. The bimetallic compound of HCS (high carbon steel) blade and HSS (high speed steel) teeth is wear and heat resistant and gives the blade a long life when cutting unhardened metal and abrasive material. The Starlock mounting system allows quick blade changes in three seconds without touching the blade. The mounting system allows maximum power transmission between the machine and the accessory due to its three-dimensional close fit.
