With the design of the Boker Plus Kihon DC, the American knifemaker Lucas Burnley embodies the idea of Japanese Kihon. The term originally encompasses the fundamentals and basic techniques of Japanese martial arts, which Burnley translates down-to-earth into a solid everyday knife. The drop-point blade made from D2 with a black titanium coating opens smoothly thanks to ball bearings via the removable thumb stud on both sides, while the cross-latch lock guarantees intuitive, safe and practical unlocking of the knife. The non-slip handle with textured checkering is made of glass fibre-reinforced nylon and is comfortable to hold. The consistent black colour concept gives the Kihon a discreet look. The 2.0 versions of the popular model are also suitable as a lightweight full-size EDC thanks to the 15 per cent weight reduction. Supplied with an eyelet for a lanyard and a convertible tip-up wire clip for flexible carrying options.
