The filtering material consists of a special cotton fabric that is soaked in a thin filter oil to ensure maximum filtration efficiency without compromising air permeability. The filter element is surrounded by an aluminum mesh coated with epoxy paint to protect the mesh from gasoline vapors and oxidation due to humidity.
