Housing and pressure arm made of heat-treated stainless steel. The BAS clamps are approximately 30% smaller than comparable competitive models while providing the same high clamping forces. Up to 16,000 N can be applied vertically to the clamping surface through the self-locking worm gear. Pressure arm variants feature a polyamide seal. For gentle clamping with optimal weight distribution, both the short and long pressure arms of the BAS models are equipped with a swiveling aluminum pressure shoe. For clamping in corners, the BSP types with pointed pressure arms offer perfect conditions. A special seal made of polyamide protects the interior from contamination. Open or closed mounting holes are available. Models with open holes can be set up and removed more quickly. In the closed version, the screw, T-nut, and clamp are connected as a single unit. Space-saving and adaptable. All models are characterized by their low height and minimal footprint. The clamping height can be incrementally increased by 80 mm using the BESSEY clamping base BASO. When using multiple bases, ensure precise workpiece support.
