Berker Socket/interchangeable socket combination

Combination switch/socket with protective contact and hinged cover AP W.1 gray. This combination of a switch and a socket with protective contact and hinged cover is protected according to IP55. It is suitable for vertical mounting, with the switch and socket being connectable separately. Installation is done using terminal blocks, with an entry for two wires and an entry for a cable or pipe. A full-area seal under the housing base ensures the sealing of the housing back. The hinged cover closes flush and locks manually to achieve the IP55 protection rating. The housings feature easily accessible, funnel-shaped mounting holes. A Wago 2-wire connection terminal for wiring is included, as well as two snap-in places for Wago 2-wire connection terminals in the housing base. There is ample space for wiring under the bases of the inserts (hollow base), and the installation of the insert in the housing is easily done by snapping in. The frame is securely fixed to the housing via a bayonet quick-release mechanism. The connection terminals comply with VDE 0620 and the design standard DIN 49440. Housing screws and hinged cover springs are made of stainless steel. The installation is done as surface-mounted installation. Material: plastic, thermoplastic, impact-resistant.
