Protective contact® socket with hinged cover, labeling field, lock, and increased touch protection, IP55, with lock and unequal closures. Ideal for washing machines, comes with 2 keys. The labeling field measures approximately 50 x 16 mm and is designed for P-touch tapes with a height of 12 mm. Equipped with terminal clamps, an entry for 2 wires, and an entry for cable or pipe. A full-area seal under the housing base ensures the sealing of the rear of the housing. The hinged cover closes flush and locks manually to achieve the protection degree IP55. Easily accessible, funnel-shaped mounting holes in the housings facilitate installation. A Wago 2-wire connection terminal for wiring is included, as well as two snap-in places for Wago 2-wire connection terminals in the housing base. There is plenty of space for wiring under the sockets of the inserts (hollow base). The installation of the insert in the housing is easily done by snapping in, and the frame is securely fixed to the housing via a bayonet quick-release. Replacement keys and other closures (max. 24) are available upon request. Connection terminals comply with VDE 0620, design DIN 49440.
