Combination series switch/socket with protective contact and hinged cover, IP55. Designed for vertical mounting, the series switch and socket can be connected separately, featuring terminal blocks with one entry for two wires and one entry for a wire or conduit. A full-area seal under the housing base ensures the back of the housing is watertight, with a hinged cover that closes automatically and can be manually locked in place to achieve protection class IP55. Easily accessible funnel-shaped mounting holes in the housings, a Wago 2-wire connection terminal included for wiring, two snap-in positions for Wago 2-wire connection terminals in the housing base, and ample space for wiring under the inserts' bases (hollow base). Simple installation of the insert in the housing by snapping in, secure fixation of the frame to the housing via a bayonet quick-release mechanism, connection terminals according to VDE 0620, design according to DIN 49440. Housing screws and cover springs made of stainless steel. Surface-mounted installation. Material: plastic, thermoplastic, impact-resistant.
