Belton Heat resistant lacquer

Highly heat resistant up to 650°C, this product is suitable for spray painting parts exposed to high temperatures, such as oven pipes, fire bowls, or fireplaces. It is also suitable for areas of motor vehicles and bicycles, such as exhaust systems.

This paint can be used in motor vehicles, engines, and exhaust systems. Heat slowly, as the paint hardens only at 250°C. The binder base is silicone resins.

For spray application, use 3-4 cross-coats, applying several thin layers with a maximum of 30 µm per coat. The recommended spray distance is 15-25 cm.

Drying times are as follows:

• Dust-dry: after approximately 30 minutes
• Touch-dry: after approximately 60 minutes
• Through-dry: the paint only hardens at temperatures above 250°C, so warm up slowly.

The paint is recoatable with itself at any time. Note: Do not use a primer as it is not temperature-resistant. Avoid spraying onto surfaces painted with synthetic resin, as the paint may lift. Only apply paint to cold objects.
