The switching actuator is used for controlling consumers and is a KNX rail-mounted device with a width of 4 TE (SA4 - 230 / 16 /) or 8 TE (SA8 - 230 / 16 /). It is mounted on a DIN rail (TH 35 according to EN 60715) in the distribution board. The transmission-based current measurement has an accuracy of +/- 10 mA and provides true RMS measurement (current) as well as voltage-synchronized active power measurement.

The device features 4 (SA4 - 230 / 16 /) or 8 (SA8 - 230 / 16 /) independent, potential-free relay contacts optimized for capacitive loads. Manual switches allow for manual operation even without bus voltage. The switching actuator is powered by the KNX bus and does not require an additional power supply. The connection of the outputs is made via screw terminals, assuming the voltage is sinusoidal. For channels 2 to 4, the phase shift can be set via ETS when using different phases (three-phase alternating current).
