Maintenance:
Blade: After each use, apply a thin layer of protective oil. Regularly wipe off dirt, water, and fingerprints. Smooth out larger dents or nicks in the blade with a fine file. The edge can be sharpened with a medium-sized sharpening stone or wheel. Cover: Waxed fabrics should never be dry cleaned or machine washed. They can be carefully cleaned by hand. Brush off dirt, rinse the surface with cold water, gently scrub with a brush, and then let air dry. If stains persist, use mild soap or saddle soap. After cleaning, the waxed fabric may need to be rewaxed. Use a wax conditioner and apply it according to the manufacturer's instructions.
