An old door intercom system cannot always be easily replaced with a new one without significant renovations. Built-in boxes set into the masonry, doorbell buttons that match the door, or even entire mailbox systems impose limitations here. However, if you still want to use the latest technology for your existing door intercom station, the TFS-Universal plus offers a solution: it fits into the existing mailbox or the installation recess of your current door intercom or mailbox system, allowing you to comfortably speak with visitors at the door via telephone, turn on the stairwell light simultaneously with the doorbell, or be informed about new mail in the mailbox. With ten universal screw tabs, there is always a way to secure it safely.

Alternatively, you can simply stick the housing behind the front panel of your doorbell system using the full-surface adhesive pad. The microphone is housed in its own small compartment, which can also be mounted separately – just as you wish and optimized for the prevailing installation conditions. You can continue to use the existing doorbell buttons for signaling.

Four doorbell buttons and a door opener relay can be connected directly. It connects directly to an a/b port of your system via a two-wire cable and behaves similarly to a telephone: pressing a doorbell button automatically dials a pre-set internal or external number.
