The ATE FB 5ev is a particularly compact and robust 5-liter brake bleeding device. It meets all requirements for filling, flushing, and bleeding modern electronic brake systems. The variable pressure setting is available in a range from 0.4 to 3.5 bar, covering all pressure ranges of leading automobile manufacturers. The working pressures are adjusted using a rotary knob to the desired working pressure and can be monitored with a Class 1.6 pressure gauge.
Today's low-viscosity brake fluids place high demands on the safe operation of a brake filling and bleeding device, which was particularly emphasized in the development of the ATE FB 5ev. A special pump generates a pulsating fluid flow that supports the complete flushing and bleeding of the brake system. The ATE FB 5ev operates directly from the ATE 5-liter can, which is securely fixed in the device with a stable attachment. This eliminates the need for time-consuming transfer of brake fluid. The suction lance is securely held in the container with a rubber sealing cone.
Through continuous pressure monitoring, the delivery pump is switched off when the container is empty, ensuring that no air can be introduced into the brake system. Conveniently, the holders for the filling hose and power cord are located on the side of the ATE FB 5ev, as well as mounts for three bleeder fittings on the back of the device. The power cord is connected to the device with a cold appliance plug, allowing for quick replacement of the power cord in case of damage or for country-specific cables. The large carrying handle enhances the mobility of the device.
