This fabric is a professional-grade weed control fabric. It truly meets all the requirements expected of a good weed barrier. This weed protection fabric is made from two different materials. A polyester fabric (PES) is laminated onto a polypropylene fabric (PP), which has the significant advantage that the garden fabric can be used both on slopes and on flat surfaces.

When laying the fabric on a slope, the rough polyester (PES) side should face up. This allows the mulch to adhere to the rough surface and prevents it from being washed away by heavy rainfall. On flat surfaces, the smooth polypropylene (PP) side should face up. This side of the fabric prevents any weed and unwanted plant growth from adhering. This combination fabric is UV-stable and therefore does not need to be covered.

Easy Application

Before laying the fabric, the weeds in the designated area should be thoroughly removed. Then, you can precisely cut the weed protection fabric to the desired size using a standard pair of scissors and place it where needed. For existing plants, cut a cross-shaped opening in the fabric at the planting spots and pull the plants through the opening. Afterwards, you can cover the fabric as desired with mulch, wood chips, or gravel. Tip: For better anchoring, our ground or soil anchors are particularly suitable!
