Mulch discs made from Swiss sheep's wool felt offer a versatile, natural solution for protecting the root zone of potted plants, fruit trees, shrubs and perennials. They reduce frost damage, reliably inhibit the growth of weeds and moss and at the same time support balanced moisture regulation. As the soil under the felt disc remains cooler and dries out more slowly, the plants benefit from more stable conditions and a more even water supply. This creates an optimally protected root environment that promotes the growth of both young and established plants.

The robust, dense sheep's wool felt - made from the wool of Swiss black-nosed sheep - ensures compact, complete coverage of the soil surface while remaining permeable to water, air and fertiliser. During natural decomposition, the wool continuously releases small amounts of nitrogen and thus acts as a gentle long-term fertiliser. This means that less watering, fertilising and weeding is required overall. The mulch discs last for at least two seasons and during this time offer reliable protection, improved soil quality and a sustainable care concept for a wide range of plant locations.
