Against Cabbage Flies

The cabbage collar made of cardboard prevents cabbage flies from laying their eggs at the root neck of various cabbage types. It also positively influences the moisture and temperature conditions of the soil. The application of the cabbage collar is very simple.

Cabbage flies lay their eggs at the root neck of cabbage plants. The larvae then attack the main root of the cabbage plant, causing damage. A lead-colored or wilted appearance and stunted growth are the consequences. The cabbage collar is placed around the cabbage plants after planting and pressed into the soil. Thanks to the curved notches, the plant is not harmed in the process. Not compostable!.
