AMF Blank T-Slot Nut Insert, 28

No. 508R, made of alloy steel.
Application
With this blank, you can manufacture T-slot nuts with non-standard threads yourself. After cutting the thread, subject the blank to the following heat treatment, which results in a strength of 10 corresponding to 21-28 HRc:
Hardening
45 minutes at 880 °C.
Quenching
In oil at 75 °C.
Tempering
2 hours at 550 °C.
