Product details

The KAE-232DA is an active DAB/DAB+ window adhesive antenna specifically designed for use in vehicles. Design: self-adhesive rod antenna. Frequency range: Band-III/L: 170-240 MHz / 1452-1495 MHz. Power supply: 5 V-12 V (50 mA) directly from the device with phantom power supply. Characteristic: omnidirectional pattern. Impedance: 50 Ohm. Connection: 5 m cable with SMB(f) angled connector.

Important Notes - Please pay attention! Before installing the antenna, ensure that the window is free of dust and grease and is dry (Tip: use isopropanol as a cleaner). If the window is very cold, installation of the antenna is not recommended (condensation!). The antenna must be mounted at least 4 cm away from metal parts in the vehicle. If space allows, a horizontal orientation is recommended. The antenna cannot be mounted if the window is metal-coated, covered with metal foil, or equipped with a heated window. If the window is smaller than 30 cm, the antenna cannot be mounted (due to the length of the antenna). The antenna must not be mounted in the driver's field of vision. Furthermore, the installation of the antenna or the routing of the cables must not impair the driver's or vehicle's handling or the function of safety devices (airbag, seatbelt tensioner, etc.).
