Product details

Twist drill HSS - Maykestag DIN 340 RN 3.0 x 100 mm. This long version features a cross section A-C, right-hand cutting, and a cylindrical shank. It is a precision-ground twist drill in industrial quality, designed for drilling alloyed and unalloyed steels, grey cast iron, malleable cast iron, copper alloy, nickel silver, graphite, and sintered iron. The drill has wide flutes and a reinforced core, allowing for a drilling depth nearly equal to the length of the twist and effective chip removal. The point angle is 118°, and the surface is blued from 1.0 mm, with all dimensions starting from 4.0 mm featuring special grinding "AC". This industrial quality drill is suitable for NC machines, precise due to modern grinding processes, and breakage resistant thanks to CNC-controlled heat treatment.
