The spiral drill from Alpen is a versatile tool characterized by high elasticity and toughness. It has been specifically designed for use in hand drills and is excellent for machining both alloyed and unalloyed steel. With a diameter of 6.5 mm and an overall length of 101 mm, this drill offers optimal cutting performance. Even with larger diameters, only a low feed pressure is required. The sharp cutting edges and the optimized flute length through partial hardening allow for up to 30% faster machining and three times longer service life compared to conventional drills. The spiral drill meets the DIN 338 RN standard and is made from high-quality HSS steel, making it particularly break-resistant and durable. The precise geometry and special ALPEN sharpening help significantly reduce drilling time and increase efficiency during use.
