With a cross-cut A-C short, right-hand twist, this precision-ground spiral drill features a cylindrical shank and is designed for industrial drilling of alloyed and unalloyed steels, gray cast iron, cast iron, copper alloys, nickel silver, graphite, and sintered iron. The wide flutes and reinforced core allow for a drilling depth that nearly matches the length of the spiral, promoting good chip removal. The tip angle is 118°, and the surface is blue tempered starting from 1.0 mm, with all dimensions from 4.0 mm featuring a special "AC" grind. This industrial-quality drill is suitable for NC machines and is characterized by a modern grinding process, while its break resistance is ensured by CNC-controlled heat treatment.
